Educational Infrastructure Development Programme for the rural school
All the village surveys carried out by Dolphin Foundation in the fringe of PAs reveal that most of the village schools are in very pathetic conditions in respect of school housing, infrastructures, staff positions etc. The students are not getting even the bare minimum educational facility and remaining totally untouched with the outside world. Dolphin Foundation has taken up an integrated plan in its Biodiversity Conservation Program to develop the educational infrastructure in the fringe village schools. This program is also helping in creating good wills among the communities, facilitating conservation activities for the PAs.
Under this program the village schools are surveyed, prioritized and provided with necessary infrastructure like – blackboards, books on wildlife & environment, sports items, educational models & globes etc. Already the program has covered 52 such schools.
